About Us
KJR College aspires to setup a higher bench marking center for Pharmacy education with the state-of-art technology and equipment to impart quality education and innovative thinking for research. We provide exemplary pharmacy and health care education, such as drug development systems and their uses. Students are taught how drugs are developed and used. On completion of this course of pharmacy, the students can excel in the fields of academic, research, marketing and industry.
KJR College of Pharmacy is Approved by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) New Delhi, AICTE New Delhi and Affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.

Our Founder
(Late) Sri Veeravalli John Jaya Rao
The founder of this college, (Late) Sri Veeravalli John Jaya Rao was born in Dulla village near Rajahmundry in 1933. He worked in the government services as a gazetted officer and established several educational institutions to serve the public. He was actively involved in the field of education since 1973.

The college was established in the year 2003 by Veeravalli Sundaramma Christian Educational Society, approved by AICTE and affiliated to Andhra University, as well as also an ISO 9001:2015 certified institution. This college is renowned as a pioneering institute for higher learning and enjoys a place of pride under the illustrious & dynamic leadership of the honorary chairman Dr. V. Daniel Ravindra Sundar M.D.,D.G.O., MRCOG (UK). He stood first in Andhra University and was awarded the Dr.H.M.Lazarus gold medal in MD for the year 1988. He is involved and interested in the education of students.

Lateral entry
Available in B.Pharmacy with course duration of 3 years.
Specializations
M.Pharmacy specializations and seats are as below.
- Pharmaceutical Technology - 24 Seats
- Pharmaceutical Analysis & Quality Assurance - 18 Seats
- Pharmaceutics - 18 Seats
Evaluation
As a part of continuous evaluation, internal examinations will be conducted. Parents/ guardians/ sponsors are regularly informed about their ward's performance.
Admissions
All admissions are provisional and subject to rules and regulations of Andhra University, Visakhapatnam prescribed for Pharmacy Course, and rules and regulations as may be prescribed by Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.
Fee Details
The tution fee shall be prescribed by the State Government from time to time.
Procedure
The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the B. Pharmacy course is a pass in the Intermediate (10+2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.
Admissions to the College are made along with the other Pharmacy colleges in the state through a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
B.Pharmacy Admission Pattern
70% of the seats are allotted by the Convener, based on merit in the EAMCET (A-Category). 30% of the seats are earmarked for NRI/Management candidates (B-Category).
M.Pharmacy Admission Pattern
Admissions as per the rules and regulations of Andhra University and Government of Andhra Pradesh as imposed from time to time.
Rules and Regulations
All the students who join the college shall abide by the rules and regulations of the college as well as Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. At the time of joining, the parent/guardian of the student should provide an undertaking towards the discipline and conduct of the students.
